Independence Seaport Museum
“River Alive” is the core exhibition of Philadelphia’s Independence Seaport Museum. I led the grant-funded concept, branding, interactive development, and prototyping phases… And built some sketchy (but effective!) wood + electronic prototypes in my apartment.
100 schoolkids. 3x DIY sensor-driven interactives. Hand-made costumes.
A key component of ISM’s grant was a user-testing session. We designed multiple stations of varying fidelity to answer the biggest questions we had. Whenever we could, we asked, “Does this actually need to be done in code?”
