Creative Director, Chroma AR, The Metropolitan Museum of Art
An AR experience that brings The Met’s jaw-dropping Chroma exhibition into the wider world—and helps users see ancient sculptures in a radically different light.
Visitors can explore the sphinx as she looks today, and in the new recreation created for the exhibition. They can use an AR “lens” to explore the deep scientific, art historic, and analytical tools used to uncover its lost color. Oh, they can try on her diadem. 👑
For visitors unable to access AR, we created robust alternate interfaces. Ranging from an uploadable selfie to a non-AR 3D viewer to full transcripts, we worked to open up access to as many people as possible (though we can always do better!).

So. Many. Prototypes.
